Terms & Conditions

1. Reservations

Your room is reserved up to 1pm on the arrival date. You must guarantee your reservation at the time of booking; all non-guaranteed rooms will be released three days prior to arrival.

You can guarantee your room by giving your credit or debit card details at the time of booking or by paying for your room in full when you make the reservation up to three days prior to arrival (Payment can be made by debit / credit card).

Cobham Lodge must receive all cheques at least five (5) working days before the arrival date. Cobham Lodge regrets that if a cheque is received late or dishonoured it may not be able to keep the room available.

2. Payment

Cobham Lodge asks that you pay for your room on arrival, accepted methods of payment are by cash, cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card), credit card (VISA, DELTA, Solo, Maestro, MasterCard and American Express).

Customers paying with cash are required to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: current driving licence, ID card, passport, credit card or debit card, utility bill, bank statement (with address).

Payment by cheque levys an additional charge of 2.5%

3. Room prices

Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%. Meals are not included in the room price.

You may pay for breakfast at the same time as paying for your room. All other meals (if applicable) must be paid for separately.

Cobham Lodge reserves the right to review and adjust room prices without giving prior notice. If you have made a booking, the price quoted at the time of booking will be the price you pay.

4. Cancellations

If you cancel a guaranteed room after 1pm on the arrival date, you will be charged for one night's accommodation per room booked.

If you decide to shorten your stay with us you must inform us by 1pm on that day otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night's accommodation per room booked.

5. Particular requirements

Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 12 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot), or a maximum of 2 adults. Please be advised that Family rooms consist of Double Bed, Single Bed and a pull out sofa.

Cobham Lodge can provide cots at an extra charge.

Cobham Lodge has strict smoking policies. All public areas and rooms are non-smoking. Guests found smoking in public areas or their rooms will receive a penalty on their account.

Cobham Lodge have two rooms that are specially adapted for customers with disabilities. Please request the specific room on booking.

Although Cobham Lodge will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We apologise in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.

6. Breakfast

Guests have a choice of a Continental Light or Continental Deluxe menu. Please remember to place your order with reception when booking your rooms.

Cobham Lodge cannot guarantee that the products used are free of nut and nut traces.

7. Arrival and departure

Check in is available from 2pm - Reception is open 24/7

Please let the Cobham Lodge know if you are likely to arrive after 10pm and arrangements will be made.

Your room must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night's accommodation.

If a guest is unable to return the key upon checking out a charge of £50 per key will apply. This will be debited from the card provided for booking and payment.

9. Please note

We regret that, with the exception of assistance dogs, no pets are allowed in Cobham Lodge.

Electrical appliances, such as toasters and mini cookers, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

If guests have damaged a room howsoever caused or wilfully, or through malicious intent, Cobham Lodge will charge the amount of any loss sustained, including business interruption losses to the credit/debit card of the registered customer. Where payment by the customer was made by means other than credit/debit card, Cobham Lodge will pursue the matter through the civil courts.

Cobham Lodge does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the information and material contained on the web site or in printed form and expressly disclaims liability for errors or omissions in the materials and the information. Nothing herein shall be construed as limiting or reducing Cobham Lodge’s responsibilities and obligations to guests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
